About

Who builds Tagaris, where it came from, and how to reach the company.

The company

Tagaris is built by Goodhall Solutions Ltd, a UK software company registered in England and Wales, company number 17058612. The company also makes Fodaris, an infrastructure monitoring product, and Autos Invoice.

Where Tagaris came from

Tagaris began as an internal tool, built and used in day-to-day IT work before it was offered to anyone else. Version 2.0, released in July 2026, was the first generally available release. The release notes list what has changed since.

What Tagaris is

  • A self-hosted IT asset register. It runs with Docker on your own server and the data stays there; the install guide covers the setup.
  • No telemetry. The one default outbound call is a daily check for a newer version, which sends the version number and nothing else and can be switched off.
  • A free tier for one administrator, with no asset limit, no export limit and no trial clock.
  • Team licences by seat count, for multiple users with roles, single sign-on, the audit log, reports and the API.
  • An iOS app for iPhone and iPad on the App Store. Android is in development.
  • Public deployment files on GitHub, and a live demo that needs no sign-up.
