- Personal API keys, capped at each person's permissions
A seat is for anyone who can change something: an Admin, an Editor, or a view-only person given a permission through an access group. The owner (the setup account) is never a seat, and view-only people are free on every plan. Team licences are priced by seats, from £229 a year, and multi-organisation is an add-on. See pricing. If you stop paying, every feature keeps working and the seat holders are paused until you renew, with your data intact.

A compose file, an environment file and docker compose up -d.
Migrations run automatically and the first visit opens the setup wizard.

Import your existing spreadsheet as CSV with a dry-run preview (the free template shows the shape), or let devices sync in from Microsoft Intune or Jamf.
Put it to work
Print QR labels for kit and rooms, scan them with the mobile app, set the renewal digest, and let the register chase warranties and licences instead of you.
Is there a catch?
One: on the free tier, only the owner can change things. Everyone else can look, and there is no limit on how many people you invite to look. Every feature is included, and that is deliberate, because a register you can trust starts with one careful administrator. When more people need to edit, Team licences start at £229 a year. If a licence ever lapses, every feature keeps working and the seat holders are paused, with your data intact. Nothing expires and nothing needs a card. The limits are exactly the ones stated above.
