Frequently asked questions

What counts as a user?

A user is a login on your install, with an Admin, Editor or Viewer role. The people you track in the register are not users, and there is no limit on them.

What counts as an organisation?

A separate register on the same install, with its own assets, people and settings. Most companies need one. MSPs and group companies run one per customer or subsidiary with the multi-organisation add-on.

Are assets really unlimited?

Yes. No plan limits the number of assets, and export is never restricted.

Can I use Free for a business?

Yes. Free is one administrator login and one organisation, with no asset limit. Add a Team licence when more people need to sign in.

Can I change Team size later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade through the customer portal, or contact us and we will sort it out.

Is Microsoft Entra ID supported for SSO?

Yes. Team includes single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID over OpenID Connect, with group to role mapping and an option to require SSO for everyone.

Does Tagaris require internet access?

It runs on your own server. Annual licence keys verify offline after one activation, or fully offline with a licence file. See how licensing works.

What happens if my subscription expires?

Your register and all free features keep working, and nothing is deleted. Paid features lock until you renew, and export always works.
