Who has what
Every asset shows its assignee, location and status. Search by name, tag, serial or hostname and get the answer while the caller is still on the phone.
Warranty and renewals
A daily email digest lists warranties, software licences and support contracts coming up for renewal, plus machines past their replacement age, in time for budget season.
Faults, without a login
Staff report a fault against the asset from a link or by scanning its label, with no Tagaris account. Issues are triaged, assigned and resolved next to the asset's history, or handed to Jira.
Orders that become assets
Receive a purchase order as a grid of serial numbers and the assets are created with the vendor, price and purchase date filled in. Contracts warn before the last day to give notice.
Audits
Print QR labels for rooms as well as assets, then audit a room from its doorway with the stock-take workflow, or label by label with the mobile app. The audit trail is kept for evidence.
Keeping it current
Devices sync in from Microsoft Intune and Jamf into a review queue, and people import from Microsoft Entra ID, so the register does not depend on manual typing. Free, and still in testing. If you already run an RMM, see what each one is for.
